Monday- March 14, 2011

Illegal Dumping/Trash- 9:15 a.m.

Lake Street- A large amount of trash was dumped on the side of the road on Lake Street. CM&D picked up the trash and disposed of it properly.

Animal Complaint- 9:53 a.m.

Bullard Street- Call of a fierce dog near a barn. The home owner stated that the dog has been in her yard for two hours and believes there is something wrong with it. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the dog. 

Erratic Operation- 3:23 p.m.

Washington Street- Reporting party stated that a brown Jeep was tailgating and driving erratically. Officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with the operator. Citation issued.

 

Tuesday- March 15, 2011

Animal Complaint- 1:52 p.m.

Washington Street and Maple Street- Received information that a couple of goats crossed Maple Street in the area of Washington Street. Area checked, goats gone on arrival.

Traffic Enforcement- 2:02 p.m.

Brook Street- Two citations issued.

 

Wednesday- March 16, 2011

Complaint- 7:24 p.m.

Farm Road Railroad Crossing- Walk-in said that a train came across the tracks with no lights flashing. Lights were repaired.

Complaint- 7:45 p.m.

Morse Road- Report of solicitors in the area. 3 young white males dressed in suits wearing black backpacks has just come to the door. Advised of town law regarding acquiring solicitation permits.

 

Thursday- March 17, 2011

Motor Vehicle Stop- 12:03 p.m.

Kendall Avenue and Speen Street- Driver stopped for speeding and operating without a motor vehicle license.

Traffic Enforcement- 4:39 p.m.

Western Avenue- Five citations issued. One verbal warning issued.

 

Friday- March 18, 2011

Complaint- 11:19 a.m.

Perry Street- Reporting party stated that she has found numerous Boston Globe plastic bags left behind by the drivers. These have been found on Hunting Lane, Perry Street, and Prospect Street.

Annoying Phone Calls- 1:11 p.m.

Forest Street- Reporting party said they received a call from someone who stated "looks like I am going to have to try and kill you again." Reporting party replied "who is this?" Caller then said he had the wrong phone number. Spoke with Milford PD, had a cruiser go by his residence. He stated that he called the wrong number but denied making any threats.

Disturbance- 5:12 p.m.

North Main Street, Walgreens- Caller reported a fight in the parking lot. Caller stated that two women were punching each other in a vehicle. Vehicle gone on arrival. Car was described as a gold/tan cadillac.

Vandalism- 5:31 p.m.

North Main Street- Caller reported someone had keyed his vehicle leaving large scratches in the paint.

 

Saturday- March 19, 2011

Harassing Phone Calls- 8:21 a.m.

Prospect Street- Resident walk-in informed officer that she had received some harassing phone calls from her nephew who had previously been in prison. The nephew received a summons for threatening to commit a crime.

Fire- 4:34 p.m.

Old Orchard Road- Officers assisted fire department with a CO detector alarm activation.

 

Sunday- March 20, 2011

Traffic Enforcement- 4:38 p.m.

Washington Street- One citation issued.

Motor Vehicle Stop- 5:53 p.m.

Maple Street- Citation issued.

 

Monday- March 21, 2011

Civil Matter- 2:15 p.m.

Coolidge Street- Reporting party doing landscaping work for a resident of Coolidge Street stated that he has not received any payment and has left several messages. Reporting party was referred to a court as it is a civil issue.

Disabled Motor Vehicle- 2:42 p.m.

Washington Street- Vehicle ran out of gas. Motorist was assisted and sent on their way.
