1. Christmas Time With Darryl and the Derelicks

Where/When: American Legion Hall, 50 Peter Kristof Way, Medfield; Fri. Dec. 23 from 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm.

Why Go: Darryl and the Derelicks, a local five-piece band, invite you to celebrate the seasons and dance the night away to the bands blend of classic rock and blues.  The band features Medfield’s own Kevin Shiels (MHS 1986) on keyboard. 2. Damian Israel Shiner at Perks Coffeehouse

Where/When: Perks Coffeehouse, 685 Washington St., Norwood; Fri., Dec. 23, 8 p.m.

Why Go: Forget about the holiday rush and enjoy a performance by singer, songwriter and guitarist Damian Israel Shiner.

3. Norwood HS Alumni Choir Performs at Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Where/When: Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 24 Berwick St, Norwood; Fri., Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: The Norwood High School Alumni Choir invite you to celebrate the sounds of the holidays as they perform a Christmas Concert.

4. Higgins Wine & Spirits Appreciation Day

Where/When: Higgins Wine & Spirits, 16 Springdale Ave, Dover; Sat., Dec. 24 from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Why Go: To ensure you pick out the perfect bottle of wine or champagne for the holidays Higgins Wine & Spirts invites you to taste some delicious wine and have some cheese from Wasik's Cheese Shop. Lot's of wine and Champagne will be available to try before you buy.

5. Tramps Like Us - A Tribute to Bruce Springsteen - A Very Special Holiday Show

Where/When: 23 Patriot Pl, Foxborough, (Showcase Live); Saturday, Dec. 24, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: For all you Bruce Springsteen fans, here’s a real treat. Tramps Like Us  will be re-creating the famous Bruce Springsteen Winterland Ballroom Show that took place in San Francisco, California back on Dec. 15th, 1978, in its entirety.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for 8:00 p.m. showtime.
