Accused Murderer Caught Running On Rooftop: MA Crime

NEW BEDFORD, MA — Massachusetts State Police officers searching for a suspect in New Bedford this week instead stumbled upon an Atlanta man wanted for murder, authorities said. Police said officers on Thursday were searching a building on Rivet Street when they saw Brejon Nabors (shown in the above photo at top right) running on the rooftop. Nabors was arrested for disorderly conduct. He declined to identify himself but his fingerprints revealed his identity — along with an arrest warrant for murder, police said.

Atlanta police said Nabors shot his partner-in-crime after a dispute April 3 then fled to Massachusetts. Read more.

On Cape Cod, police said they arrested a heavily tattooed man with 68 charges on his record again. Frank Fagone, of Bourne (shown in the photo above at left), was charged with assault after police said he was involved in an altercation over drugs at a motel. Read more.

In Marlborough, an accused child rapist from that town who was featured as one of the Massachusetts State Police's "most wanted" individuals was caught in Nevada. Daniel Escalante, 42, was charged with nearly a dozen counts of child rape. Read more.
