Easton Deputy Fire Chief On Leave After 'Incident'
Easton Deputy Fire Chief Timothy Griffin was placed on leave after he was involved in an "incident" in Attleboro while off-duty.

EASTON, MA — Easton Deputy Fire Chief Timothy Griffin was placed on leave Monday following an incident in Attleboro while he was off duty, officials said. Griffin will remain on leave "pending the outcome of this incident and pending an administrative review," Easton Fire Chief Kevin Partridge said in a statement.
Partridge did not detail the alleged incident.
"For legal reasons, I cannot comment further at this time," Partridge said in a statement.

Griffin has been a member of the Easton Fire Department since 2001.
Partridge said the decision was "consistent with the policies and procedures of the Town of Easton and the Easton Fire Department."
