Massachusetts Man Beat Dog With Baseball Bat: Police
Dartmouth police said Gregory Ostiguy beat his dog with a baseball bat. The dog survived the attack, police said.

DARTMOUTH, MA — A New Bedford man was arrested Friday after police said he beat his dog with a baseball bat. Gregory Ostiguy, 50, was charged with cruelty to animals. The dog survived the attack, police said.
The alleged attack happened in Dartmouth in Bristol County. Police said Ostiguy was seen in a vehicle attacking his dog on Colonial Way in the center of town at about 6:50 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the scene and placed Ostiguy under arrest.
The dog was transported to a local veterinarian.
