• Easton, MA – 66-Year-Old Woman Killed in Head-On Crash on Belmont St (localaccidentreports.com) — A 66-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash on Belmont Street in Easton Wednesday morning, according to local police. Investigators say her sedan collided with a pupil transport van, fatally injuring her and sending the van’s driver to a nearby medical center. Officers are still working to determine what caused the collision.
   

• Woman Found Dead after Easton, MA, Firefighters Called to EMS Run Find House Fire (firehouse.com) — A woman was found dead after Easton firefighters arrived at what was first reported as a medical call and instead discovered a house fire on North Main Street Thursday night. Crews encountered heavy fire throughout the single-family home and quickly shifted into firefighting and search mode. The cause of the blaze and the woman’s death remain under investigation.
   

• Bay Staters continue to buckle up (bostonherald.com) — Easton drivers are part of Bristol County, which posted the lowest seat belt use in Massachusetts at 78%, even as the statewide rate hit a record high in 2025.
