The public is invited to attend an informational meeting on March 20, 2013 on plans to revitalize the Main Street area of North Easton Village.  The meeting will take place at 7:00 PM at Frothingham Hall, 15 Barrows Street in Easton.  Town staff and representatives from BETA Engineering Group will be present to answer questions and to get public input on current plans for the project, which include streetscape enhancements, pedestrian and parking improvements, new lighting and removal of overhead wires.  The Town will be looking to finalize plans for this project over the coming months.

This is the latest in a series of projects aimed at revitalizing the Village area.  It will complement current initiatives including the redevelopment of the historic Ames Shovel Works and the new wastewater treatment plant and sewer infrastructure that will serve a portion of the village.
