After Car Break-Ins, Cape Cod Police Seek Public Assistance
Area police will be upping neighborhood patrols, but have also asked residents to be diligent.
BOURNE, MA — Police in one Cape Cod community said they were increasing neighborhood patrols after reports of car break-ins.
Bourne police said they received multiple calls for vehicles that were broken into in the area of Monument Beach on Oct. 30.
As part of an investigation, police said they are seeking information from the public to help find the source of the crimes.

Additionally, police are asking residents to lock their car doors and make sure valuables are secured, especially at night.
"Our officers will be increasing their patrols of neighborhoods, but please report any suspicious activity by calling 508-759-4451," police said.
