Therese Murray Wins Primary With 87 Percent of Vote
Results from Thursday's primary election in Falmouth.

State Senate President Therese Murray of Plymouth won the Democratic primary on Sept. 6, with 87 percent of the vote, defeating challenger Stephen Michael Palmer, also of Plymouth. Murray will run against Republican Thomas F. Keyes of Sandwich in the November election for the Plymouth-Barnstable Senate District.
Cape and Islands Rep. Timothy Madden (D.) Nantucket and 3rd Barnstable District Rep. David T. Viera (R.) of Falmouth will run opposed in November.
