Barnstable County Fair Returns This Week

Big name musicians, the world's largest demolition derby and plenty of fair food are on the docket this week in Falmouth. What to know.

EAST FALMOUTH, MA — The Barnstable County Fair returns this week, opening on Monday for locals to enjoy a litany of good eats, live entertainment and more.

Each year, tens of thousands of people flock to the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in East Falmouth for the event, with 60,000 people attending over the week-long fair in 2023.

A three-day pass for the event is $50 while daily admission for adults is $20, kids is $10 and seniors and military are $15. Children under five get in free.

Among the events on the docket for 2024 are a petting zoo and barnyard display, advice from expert gardeners, a Dare Devil Dogs show, alpacas, chainsaw carvings and more.

Notable performers booked for the event include "The Voice" champion Jake Hoot and former Journey lead singer Steve Augeri. On Wednesday, the world's largest demolition derby is the highlight while country artist Matt Stell performs on Thursday.

  • Monday-Thursday: 4-10 p.m.
  • Friday-Saturday: 12-10 p.m.
  • Sunday: 12-9 p.m.
