Individual sessions, groups, and classes using sound, energy, and attuned perception to help people navigate life challenges and access their own internal resources in new ways. Sessions take place in person in Woods Hole or occasionally in other locations on the East Coast, or by phone or Zoom from anywhere. Contact Ellen for more info. New group forming now: Gentle Connection, Sundays 4:30-6pm December 28-February 1. If you are interested in spending the winter in warm connection with yourself, building self-compassion and supporting others as they do the same, this group is for you. This is a lightly facilitated group for growth and learning, focused on increasing kindness and tenderness towards self, which creates a ripple effect through all aspects of your life. Drop-in guided meditations every Monday and Wednesday from 10:00am to 10:25am, with the option to stay until 11, free/pay what you can. It is amazing what can happen in just 25 minutes. Sea Stars Early Learning Center

Sea Stars Early Learning Center offers a balanced program that incorporates play-based learning, structured lessons, and physical activities. Children are encouraged to explore their interests, whether through music, art, science, or outdoor exploration. There’s a focus on developmental milestones, including fine motor skills, communication, and social interaction. The facility focuses on helping children develop strong social skills through group activities, games, and cooperative learning. There’s an emphasis on emotional intelligence, teaching kids how to manage their feelings and resolve conflicts peacefully. Our amazing helps kids learn to share, collaborate, and support one another, fostering a sense of community. The facility embraces children from all backgrounds and is sensitive to cultural differences, making sure all children feel accepted and valued. The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. Melissa Anderson and Leigh-Ellen Ferreira are two Falmouth natives who have spent many years working with children.
