The Gallery at FCTV

Artwork by Peg Clarkin will be displayed at The Gallery at FCTV through December 18th. Click HERE to meet the artist.

Peg Clarkin’s bold, bright, playful acrylic paintings emerge as part of a healing process for this mostly self-taught artist. With a master’s degree in Language and Learning Disabilities, Peg completed several post-graduate courses in Expressive Arts Therapy and benefited from a few local painting classes. Her current art project is soul portraiture in honor of passed loved ones. An ordained minister, Peg is writing a memoir about healing arts. She also leads LET YOUR YOGA DANCE classes and offers Reiki.

Of her artwork, Peg says: “Bright, lively acrylic paintings emerge through a processing of dreams, emotions, and imagination, and encounters with movement, nature, or the numinous. Using bold colors, flowing movement, and playfulness, feelings and experiences are processed. I heal, grow, and create closure as I encounter peace, joy, and contentment in my creative process. My pieces intentionally reveal something about me and occasionally unveil the unexpected.”

The Gallery at FCTV is located within the Falmouth Community Media Center, which is at 310E Dillingham Ave., easily accessible by Rose Morin Lane. FCTV and Gallery
