Cape Cod Route 6 Crash: 'Miraculous' No One Hurt
Cape Cod weather: a half-foot of snow just before high tide caused flooding and crashes across the region.

BOURNE, MA — A driver crashed into a guardrail in Bourne on Route 6 near the Sagamore Bridge Tuesday afternoon and barely escaped injury during dangerous, snowy road conditions, according to police. About a half-foot of snow fell on the Cape Monday night into Tuesday and there was scattered coastal flooding across Eastern Massachusetts during high tide around 10 a.m. In Plymouth, firefighters rescued a woman trapped in her vehicle on a flooded road.
Bourne police said it was "miraculous" there were no injuries in the Route 6 crash.
Cape Cod's next chance for snow is Friday.
