Closing Of West Falmouth Harbor Family Area To Shellfishing, Effective March 21

The West Falmouth Harbor Family Area (BB-54) is anticipated to be closed to shellfishing effective sunrise on Monday, March 21, 2022 in order to restock the area for a plentiful oyster harvest season in Fall 2022.

Please note that the last weekend for shellfishing in the current fall/winter harvest season in the West Falmouth Harbor Family Area shall be Saturday, March 19, 2022 and Sunday, March 20, 2022.
The West Falmouth Harbor Family Area will re-open to shellfishing at sunrise on Saturday, October 1, 2022 or at the time that the MA DMF deems water quality is acceptable, whichever date is later.
