Disabled Cars, Flooding Close Falmouth Road
Menauhant Road is impassable due to flooding and other factors after heavy rains, police said.
FALMOUTH, MA — The late season nor'easter is having an effect on Cape Cod already on Thursday.
Falmouth police are asking the public to avoid Menauhant Road in the area of Maravista.
"The roadway is impassable due to flooding, sand and disabled motor vehicles," police said.

Cape Cod is also dealing with strong winds on Thursday. Areas of Falmouth have seen gusts close in on 50 miles per hour while Wellfleet has reported gusts of 73 mph, according to the National Weather Service.
