Drones Will Fly Over Teaticket Elementary, Falmouth High: Here's Why
A drone is needed to survey a project in Falmouth, but that'll mean flying over two schools in town.
News release from Falmouth Public Schools.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Town of Falmouth will be using a drone to survey a project area to design the first phase of the Great Pond sewer area. This will be a large drone, 4-5 ft across, that will be flown by a licensed drone pilot. The drone will be flown 200-250 feet above the ground over the project area, primarily along street right of ways, to collect survey data regarding existing road layout and existing utility locations.
The drone will fly along roads adjacent to the Teaticket Elementary School as well as along roads on 2 sides of Falmouth High School.
