FALMOUTH, MA — An elderly Falmouth cab driver was run over by a truck in a hit-and-run crash on Sippewissett Road Monday morning, police said. The 80-year-old cab driver was seriously injured and medflighted to Boston Medical Center. Police said he was expected to survive.The suspect vehicle was described a dark-colored 2000-2007 Chevrolet Silverado with front-end damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact Falmouth police at <a href="tel:(774)%20255-4527" value="+17742554527" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">774-255-4527</a>.Police said the cab driver stopped on Sippewissett Road at about 6 a.m. to check a pickup address."After exiting the cab he realized he ... left the cab in reverse as it rolled away," Falmouth police said in a statement. "When he attempted to stop his cab from rolling away, he slipped and became partially trapped under the cab ... The cab driver then called another cab driver for assistance.
