BARNSTABLE, MA — A Falmouth man was charged with a host of crimes Thursday morning after police said he crashed a vehicle with three others inside — including a child. Christopher Cobb, 33, was charged with driving negligently, driving after suspension and reckless behavior involving a child.

Police said the crash happened Thursday at about 2 a.m. in Cotuit. Cobb was the passenger in a Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by a Cotuit woman when he grabbed the steering wheel, causing the vehicle to crash into a tree. All four occupants, including a 5-year-old girl, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
