Falmouth Man Tries To Hit Trump Gear Vendor, Spits On Him: PD
The man spit at the vendor and told him he had the coronavirus; police said he also exposed himself and yelled "suck on this."

FALMOUTH, MA — A Falmouth man is facing several charges including assault with a dangerous weapon and open and gross lewdness after police said he tried to drive his car into a vendor selling President Trump memorabilia, among other things. The man is 77; police did not identify him.
On July 18, police received a call about "a man trying to run people down with his car and swearing" along the 600 block of the North Falmouth Highway. A vendor selling Trump memorabilia told police the driver came by his stand several times, even jumping the sidewalk curb to get closer.
The man stuck his middle finger at the vendor and screamed from the driver's side window, the vendor told police. The man left but quickly returned and nearly hit the vendor, popping his tire in the process, according to a police report.

Once the man got out of his car, the situation escalated and he dropped his pants and underwear, according to the report. The vendor told police the man charged at him and spit in his face. The vendor said he pushed the man off and the man swung at him with a closed fist. A witness told police they heard the man yell he had COVID-19 when he spit at the vendor. The man also yelled "suck on this" when he dropped his pants and underwear, according to the witness.
The property owners were on the strip at the time and chased the man off, snapping a photo of his license plate before he left.

Police tracked the plates to the man's home and found him sipping what looked like whiskey or scotch in his backyard. According to the report, when officers told him they had video, provided by witnesses, of him exposing himself and hitting the vendor, the man became irate and ranted that the officers were Trump supporters and called them fascists.
When officers brought up that he had spit on the man, he denied it and demonstrated what he did.
"He proceeded to spray so much spit in the air that a visible cloud of spit droplets dispersed at least three feet in front of him," the police report reads.
The man's harsh words only became more pointed when officers arrested him, and he began wishing death on them and their family, police said. The man called a female officer who arrested him several offensive slurs, according to the report.
The rant continued in the police station, where the man said he was going to kill Trump and was uncooperative while booking, the report said. After officers put him in a holding cell to cool down, he unraveled an entire roll of toilet paper on the floor, urinated on the floor, and stuck his hands down his backside and smeared his hands on the wall, the report reads.
Police said it will cost $200 to have the cell professionally sanitized so it can be used again.
The man made bail that night and while he was being escorted out of the station, he continued to wipe his hands on the walls and banisters, police said.
