Falmouth Police: Drunk Driver Hit House, Cars, Fences, Deck
Falmouth police said Michael Barry was "extremely drunk" when he went on a rampage on Seaspray Avenue over the weekend.

FALMOUTH, MA — An "extremely drunk" Falmouth man was arrested Sunday after embarking on a rampage on Seaspray Avenue — crashing into a house, two cars, two fences, a deck and picnic table, police said. Michael Barry, 34, was charged with operating under the influence of liquor, driving to endanger and two counts of leaving the scene of a crash.
The incident unfolded at about 10 p.m., police said. A Seaspray Avenue resident told police he saw Barry in his driveway and shined a light on the car. At that point, Barry hit the gas, police said.
"He smashed into two cars in the driveway and destroyed their fence, picnic table and deck," Falmouth police said in a statement. "The vehicle then struck a neighbor’s house before continuing through the backyard and through another fence into a third property on a neighboring street. When officers arrived, the vehicle was still running and in gear and the operator was extremely drunk."
