Falmouth Power Outages Down To 50

Falmouth power outages stretched into a fifth day following a historic snowstorm.

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth power outages on Tuesday stretched into a fifth day following a devastating nor'easter, though full restoration was within sight. As of Tuesday morning, there were still 58 without power in Falmouth, according to Eversource. That figure represents less than 1 percent of town.

Statewide, more than 17,000 were without power Tuesday morning — mostly in Southeastern Massachusetts and on Cape Cod. Outages were expected to persist into mid-week or later, according to the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency.

Another nor'easter will hit Eastern Massachusetts Wednesday, though it will be weaker than Friday's storm.
