In September 2023, the University of Connecticut conducted an anonymous postcard survey using random sampling of Falmouth residents and property owners regarding the siting of SouthCoast Wind’s proposed high-voltage cable landfall, new cable corridor, and 6-acre electric HVDC substation.

Residents were urged to complete an 8-minute survey. The survey aimed to gather community perceptions and understand support or opposition to the project.

By the end of 2023, the results of the University of Connecticut's postcard survey on Falmouth residents' attitudes toward the SouthCoast Wind project had not been published.
