MA Sen. Fernandes To Host Cape Bridges Forum
The third session of the ongoing series will be held in Plymouth in early November.

PLYMOUTH, MA — Massachusetts Sen. Dylan Fernandes will host the third session in his ongoing series of community forums focused on the Cape Bridges Project in Plymouth.
The forum is scheduled for Nov. 10 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Plymouth South Middle School Lecture Hall.
Fernandes’ Cape Bridges Community Forum series is a public forum that offers local residents a chance to hear directly from, and ask questions to, the head of the Cape Bridges project, along with other high-level Massachusetts Department of Transportation officials.

In addition to Fernaneds, project leaders from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT), including Luisa Paiewonsky, Director of the Office of Megaprojects Delivery, will be on hand to discuss updated plans for the replacement of the Sagamore and Bourne Bridges.
The event will provide the public with an overview of the project’s timeline, latest milestones and environmental review progress.

“Our community deserves to stay informed and have a voice in the biggest projects in our region,” said Fernandes. “The Cape Cod bridge project is the largest transportation project our region has seen in over a century and we are hosting this public forum so that the residents of Plymouth who will be impacted by it can have a voice. I’m grateful to MassDOT for continuing to work with us to keep this process open, transparent, and grounded in community engagement.”
MassDOT recently filed the project’s environmental report, marking a key step in the process of the project.
Following the presentation, there will be a dedicated question-and-answer session, where community members will have the chance to ask questions and provide feedback directly to project leaders.
