Mashpee Commons Brings Back 'Shark Art Cape Cod' Exhibit
This is the second year for the exhibit currently on display. A reception is scheduled for Thursday.

WHAT: Visitors to Cape Cod can view the region’s famous apex predators without having to go into the water from July 17 to July 28.
Mashpee Commons will host its 2nd Annual Shark Art Cape Cod, a free exhibit featuring works to purchase from more than a dozen local artists showcasing paintings, sculpture, water interpretations and other works of art inspired by sharks and Cape Cod’s unique coastal ecosystem.

In addition to visual arts, the works of Cape Cod authors will be displayed on a “Book Wall,” which will also pay tribute to author Peter Benchley’s novel “Jaws” on the 50th anniversary of its publication.
Artist entry fees will be used to fund a donation to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.

WHEN: Wednesday, July 17 - Sunday, July 28
11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
A reception will be held Thursday, July 25 from 6 - 8 p.m. followed at 8:30 p.m. by “Jaws” as the featured movie for Summer Movie Night on the Village Green.
