Mashpee Commons Fall Fest Returns This Week
Pumpkin painting, live music and more highlight the weekend Fall Fest on Cape Cod. Here's what to know.

MASHPEE, MA — It's autumn on Cape Cod and Mashpee Commons has plans to kick off the season with its annual Fall Fest.
The Fall Fest, a "celebration of free Autumn-inspired entertainment for all ages," will be held on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Steeple Street will be closed to vehicles between The Black Dog and Panera Bread for the duration of the event, officials said.
Scheduled activities will "provide a broad array of family-friendly entertainment, including sidewalk shopping, music, art, contests and fall food selections."

Here's what officials said will be included at the event:
- "Pumpkin Painting: (Beginning at 11a.m.) Paint & take home your own sugar pumpkin thanks to the students of the National Honors Art Society. Free, while pumpkin supplies last.
- Instagram Gift Card Contest & Photo Wall: Take a photo during Fall Fest at the Commons! Post your photo to Instagram and tag @MashpeeCommons for a chance to win one of two $100 gift cards to the Mashpee Commons merchant of your choice. *Winners announced on Instagram on Sunday 10/13.
- Live Music in Central Square: (From 1-3 p.m.) “Beautiful 2sday” will perform!
- Touch-A-Truck: (From 12-2 p.m.) Courtesy of the Mashpee Fire Department.
- Face Painting and Balloon Twisting"
“Fall Fest at Mashpee Commons has become one of Cape Cod’s signature autumn events, attracting thousands of attendees for a day of fall-themed fun and entertainment,” said Krysten Kelliher, Marketing Director, Mashpee Commons.
