Massive Heroin Bust On Cape Cod: Police
The Cape Cod Drug Task Force said it seized more than 200 grams of heroin and arrested Marcus Pogue and Leah Nickerson.

BARNSTABLE, MA — The Cape Cod Drug Task Force said officers on Tuesday arrested a heroin dealer during a raid and seized more than 200 grams of heroin with a potential street value of $40,000. Marcus Pogue, 24, of Fall River, was arrested at a motel and found with 206 grams of heroin, police said. He was charged with heroin trafficking and resisting arrest.
Also arrested during the raid was Leah Nickerson, 21, of Mashpee. She was charged with being present where heroin is kept.
Police said the arrests were the culmination of a weeks-long investigation.

Sandwich police led the raid with assistance from Massachusetts State Police. Pogue and Nickerson were held in custody pending an arraignment in Barnstable District Court.
