Motorcycle Rider Seriously Injured In Cape Cod Crash
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation after the rider was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
BOURNE, MA — A motorcycle rider suffered serious injuries in a weekend crash on Cape Cod, police said.
Around 2 p.m. on Saturday, officers from the Bourne Police Department responded to the area of 6 Head of the Bay Rd. for a reported crash involving a motorcycle.
Officers arrived on the scene and found the operator of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man from Taunton, lying on the ground with suspected serious injuries. Officers provided medical care until the arrival of Bourne Fire and EMS.

The operator of the SUV, an 84-year-old man from Bourne, reported no injuries and remained on the scene. The operator of the motorcycle was transported to an area hospital by Boston Medflight helicopter.
