North Falmouth Elementary Opens On Monday Despite Water Leaks
The extreme cold over the weekend resulted in two later leaks at the elementary school, but enough fixes were made to reopen on Monday.
FALMOUTH, MA — Extreme cold caused a number of problems across Cape Cod over the weekend, including at a local school.
North Falmouth Elementary school had two water leaks happen over the weekend, threatening to keep doors closed into this week.
"Due to the frigid temperatures this past weekend North Falmouth Elementary School had two water leaks," school officials said.

However, the school also announced that enough fixes were made to open doors Monday morning.
"With the efforts of our exceptional team of custodians, the school will be open tomorrow on schedule," officials said.

A report from Boston 25 News, the leaks came from a busted sprinkler pipe, which soaked classrooms and even left a hole in the school's ceiling.
