Overturned Trailer Slows Cape Cod Traffic, Road Reopened

Update: The road has reopened as of 12:54 p.m., Falmouth police officials said.

FALMOUTH, MA — An overturned trailer slowed traffic on a Cape Cod highway Monday morning, but didn't initially shut it down

The Falmouth Police Department was on the scene of an overturned trailer at the on-ramp from Route 151 to Route 28 North Monday morning.

"At this time, the ramp remains passable; however, motorists are urged to use caution when traveling through the area. Crews are working to safely manage the scene and ensure the flow of traffic," police said in a 7 a.m. news release.

However, 45 minutes later police updated the public that the ramp had closed.
