Tractor-Trailer Driver Injured In Rollover Crash On Cape Cod Highway

Officials said some fluid was leaking from the tractor-trailer, but was contained and "posed no environmental hazards."

FALMOUTH, MA — The operator of a tractor-trailer involved in a rollover crash on Cape Cod was injured but is expected to recover, officials said.

This morning around 8:15 a.m. Massachusetts State Police received a report of a tractor-trailer that rolled over on the Route 28 North on-ramp at Thomas B. Landers Road. In addition to the rollover, the truck dumped its load of mulch onto the side of the road.

The operator of the truck was found outside the vehicle when officials arrived and was transported to Falmouth Hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries.

The on-ramp was closed until the vehicle was removed, but has since reopened. The cause of the accident remains under investigation by Massachusetts State Police
