'Shark Art Cape Cod' Showing For A Few More Days

MASHPEE, MA — There are still a few days left in Shark Week 2023. This means Cape Cod visitors and residents still have time to check out local art honoring the ocean creature.

Mashpee Commons is hosting Shark Art Cape Cod, a free exhibit featuring works from more than a dozen local artists showcasing paintings, sculpture and other works of art inspired by the growing population of sharks that annually congregate off the coast of the Cape.

Not only that, but the exhibition also benefits sharks. Artist entry fees will be used to fund a donation to the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy.

The works are on display through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mashpee Commons is located at 5 North St., in Mashpee.
