FALMOUTH, MA – August 1, 2025 – Join the Falmouth Historical Society for a stirring summer concert, From Sea to Shining Sea: A Tribute to America the Beautiful, on Friday, August 1 at 7:00 PM at the Museums on the Green (55 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth). Doors open at 6:30 PM.
Presented in partnership with the Cape Cod Music Society, this dynamic program celebrates the enduring legacy of Katharine Lee Bates, Falmouth native and author of America the Beautiful. Through a vibrant blend of pop, classical, and contemporary music, the evening will honor the spirit of unity and diversity woven into the American experience.

Featured performers include the Cape Cod String Quartet, pianist Matthew Hutchinson, and vocalists Steve Ross, Emma Fahle, and Anna McEntee. The concert will feature beloved selections such as Imagine, Your Song, All I Ask of You, Stand by Me, and Fields of Gold, alongside stirring classical pieces, including Vivaldi’s Double Concerto and Nordic folk interpretations from the Danish String Quartet.
This cross-genre performance offers a musical journey from coast to coast, past to present, resonating with the inclusive vision that Katharine Lee Bates imagined for America.
