Key to Awesomeness:  Ivan cleared a hiking trail on the Bartolomei Parcel in East Falmouth for his Eagle Scout community project.  Ivan started the trail project in June and finished by the middle of the summer.

“What took even longer [than clearing the land] was organizing the trail. First,  plotting a trail by GPS, then on paper, and acquiring necessary approvals from the Conservation Commission to go ahead with the project,” said Ivan.

“I had a lot of help. I received help from my family, friends and many fellow Scouts during the trail construction. I learned a lot about leadership and I must say it was quite a learning experience. Of course, I am very glad to have done it. I am glad of the experience I gained working with others, the people I got to meet and the job I was able to do to benefit my community.”
