Woods Hole Film Festival 2023 Is Underway. What's Showing This Week

The festival kicked off over the weekend, with nearly a full week of showings left on the docket. Here's what to know.

WOODS HOLE, MA — The Woods Hole Film Festival is officially underway. This week will feature screenings from Monday through Saturday, with plenty of top notch films and shorts to view.

Over the course of eight days, 110 films selected from around the world representing the best in "emerging independent film" will be screened.

Filmmakers who've screened at the festival had a good run of success in 2023 as three earned Oscar nominations.

Josh Seftel, Beth Levison and Sara Dosa all earned nominations for films this year, and all have shown work at the Cape Cod festival, including Seftel and Dosa's nominated works.
