Police: $5,000 in Cash, Musical Instruments Taken from Apartment on Symphony Road

The victims told police the suspect allegedly left a note.

Boston Police are investigating larceny inside a Sympony Road apartment where several thousand dollars and musical instruments were allegedly stolen on Tuesday evening.

Boston Police responded to a breaking and entry report at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17 at 49 Symphony Road.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victims who stated that they had left their apartment at 4 p.m. and returned at about 5:20 p.m. When they returned, they found the front door and the balcony doors ajar, the victims said.

Upon entering the apartment, the victim found his keyboard and bass guitar missing, according to police. The victim reported that $5,000 in cash was taken from their suitcase along with studio monitors.

The victim told police that the sliding door, which leads to Symphony Road, was was left unsecured. A note from the suspects was left behind and turned in as evidence.
