2 Foxborough Residents to Perform in Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras' Finale

BYSO's 55th season final concert set for June 16th at Sanders Theatre at Harvard University.

Two Boston Youth Symphony students from Foxborough will be closing the BYSO's 55th season with a final concert on June 16th at Harvard University's Sanders Theatre.

Foxborough's Maxwell Doyle, 15, and Alexa Dumont, 16, will each be playing double bass as the BYSO performs Ravel's La valse (with conductor Federico Cortese) and Debussy's La Mer (conductor Adrian Slywotzky) and Repertory Orchestra will perform Stravinksy's A Firebird Suite (1919) with Mark Miller conducting.

"Every Sunday for more than nine months, these young musicians have spent hours rehearsing together, sharing their love of music and disseminating this passion with audience members at concerts throughout the season," BYSO said in a press release. "On June 16th, BYSO pays special tribute to the 70 young students who will be performing their final concert with BYSO as they graduate from high school and continue their path in life."
