The 2018 Foxborough State Primary By The Numbers
Here are some numbers about Tuesday's vote in Foxborough.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — The 2018 Massachusetts Primary is in the books and while other parts of the state saw big upsets and races that are too close to call, it was a relatively quiet day in Foxborough.
About 21.49 percent of registered voters in Foxborough chose to cast their ballot for the primary. Here are some numbers about the vote in Foxborough:
- 2,579: The total amount of Foxborough residents who voted in Tuesday's election. It's an improvement over the 2016 primary which had few candidates and drew only 370 voters and 2014's 1,777.
- 7: The number of contested races on both the Democratic and Republican ballots. Only both governor's races, the Democratic lieutenant governor's race, the Democratic congressional race, the Democratic secretary of state race, and the Republican attorney general's race had more than one candidate.
- 1,272: The number of votes for Democratic Congressman Joseph Kennedy III. No other candidate in Foxborough received more votes. Lieutenant Governor Karen Polito got the most on the Republican side, netting 834 votes in her uncontested race.
Voters will be asked to return to the polls for the general election on Nov. 6.
