5 Foxborough Students Awarded Rotary Club Scholarships
The Rotary Club awards scholarships to those in need of financial support and those who represent their organizational message.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Five students from Foxborough schools were awarded Rotary Club of Foxboro scholarships this year, the organization announced recently.
The students are: Nina Demirs, of Foxborough Regional Charter School; Cam Barreira, of Foxborough High School; Brooke Barreira, of Foxborough High School; Megan Foley, of Foxborough High School; and Bo Canfield, of Foxborough High School.
According to the organization, the Rotary Club offers "competitive scholarships designed to help Foxboro residents improve their well-being through directed post-secondary education."

Dependent on the year, the Rotary awards scholarships to three to five students of approximately $1,000. Students eligible for the scholarships are "any resident or person affiliated with the Foxboro community demonstrating the ideals of Rotary’s ‘Service Above Self’ and needing financial support is eligible for a Rotary Scholarship Grant for any approved course of study."
For those interested in applying for the next round, the deadline for the application is the end of May. The form can be downloaded from www.FoxboroRotary.org.
