Charges Filed In Foxboro Bank Of America Armed Robbery
A Rockland man was charged with armed robbery after a police and FBI investigation into last week's armed robbery.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — An investigation into last week's armed robbery of a Foxborough Bank of America resulted in the arrest of a Rockland man over the weekend.
Foxborough police said that detectives obtained arrest and search warrants over the weekend for Louis Paris, 47, of Rockland. He is charged with armed robbery while masked, according to police.
On Monday morning, Foxborough detectives, assisted by Rockland detectives, an FBI Agent, and members of the Metro SWAT unit arrested Paris outside his Rockland home.

An arraignment was scheduled for Monday, according to Foxborough police. In addition to the armed robbery while masked charge, others are pending as the investigation continues, police said.
According to Foxborough police, the Southeastern Massachusetts Regional Emergency Communications Center received a call reporting an armed robbery at the bank branch around 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 13.

Officers and detectives from Foxborough responded to the scene alongside agents from the FBI's Lakeville Office. Law enforcement also requested that nearby schools "stay in place" while the area was searched, police said.
