Ex-Foxborough Man Deemed 'Dangerous' In Arson Case
Brian E. Chase, 46, will be held for up to 180 days without bail.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A former Foxborough man accused of arson in Norton is dangerous, a judge has determined.
Brian E. Chase, 46, will be held for up to 180 days without bail following a hearing in Bristol Superior Court in Fall River, according to the Sun Chronicle.
Chase was arrested Aug. 16 in Fall River. He was recently indicted on arson charges related to two fires on March 26, 2017 on Mansfield Avenue in Norton.

Prosecutors indicated that they have witness statements, video footage, and cell phone records that link Chase to the crimes. Chase's attorney, Brian Roman of North Attleboro, said the evidence was circumstantial.
Chase was arrested at a homeless shelter in Fall River. He attended Foxborough High School, but dropped out before graduating.
