Foxboro Teacher Admits To Having Child Porn On His Computer
Thomas Davis, 41, a teacher at Foxboro High School, has been charged with possession and receipt of child pornography, police say.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — A Foxboro High School teacher was arrested on child exploitation and pornography charges Thursday, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Thomas Davis, 41, of Mansfield, is charged with possession of child pornography and receiving child pornography over the internet.
During a warranted search of his home Thursday, the FBI says they found 40 images on Davis' laptop involving children under the age of 12-years-old.

Court documents say an FBI investigation was first launched after a report surfaced that Davis showed a video to someone depicting him having sex with an underage student.
According to the FBI report, during an interview Davis admitted to having child pornography on his computer, giving law enforcement the password to his computer. Though he denied, "ever touching a child in a sexually inappropriate manner."

According to a high school video from the school's website, Davis was a special education teacher.
That video has since been taken down by the school.
Foxboro Public Schools Superintendent Amy Berdos says Davis has been placed on unpaid administrative leave.
The school will be holding a Zoom meeting with parents to answer questions about the case.
Davis appeared in U.S. District Court Thursday and is being held pending a probable cause and detention hearing scheduled for September 1.
