Foxborough Softball Opens State Tournament Play in Middleboro Friday
Foxborough earned the 25th and final seed in the MIAA Division 2 South Sectional softball tournament.
The Foxborough High School softball team earned a postseason berth under the Sullivan Rule with a 7-13 record and will take the field in the MIAA Division 2 South Sectional preliminary round against Middleboro Friday.
The Warriors drew the 25th and final seed in the tournament while Middleboro is seeded eighth with a 14-6 record.
The game is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. Friday at Middleboro.
