Man Charged After Jumping From Apartment During Foxborough Chase: Cops
A Massachusetts man faces kidnapping and assault charges after a police pursuit on Tuesday, officials said.
FOXBOROUGH, MA — A domestic dispute led to charges for one man, who leaped off a second-floor balcony and led police on a pursuit to avoid arrest, Foxborough police said.
Officers arrived at a Foxborough apartment after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday following a report of a possible fight inside. An officer was met by a "distraught victim" at the door, police said.
The 24-year-old Massachusetts man charged in the case momentarily struggled with the officer before jumping from the balcony.

Another officer arriving at the apartment saw the man driving out of the complex, and pursued him. The 24-year-old crossed into Mansfield, police said, and the officer stopped the pursuit, citing safety reasons.
Massachusetts State Police were next to spot the man, who briefly stopped for a trooper before speeding away, this time in Sharon. After the pursuit continued for some time, the man was eventually stopped on a Foxborough highway, and safely taken into custody.
