MA's Newest Pickleball Facility Announces Opening Day

The new facility will open at Patriot Place later this year. Here's what to know.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Massachusetts' newest pickleball facility officially has an opening day.

Patriot Place and ELEVENO Pickleball announced in June the opening of a new 40,000-square-foot indoor pickleball facility. This week, the pair announced an opening day of Dec. 1 with free community play on Dec. 5.

It will be built within the location most recently occupied by Christmas Tree Shops in Patriot Place’s South Marketplace, located next to Trader Joe’s and RH Outlet.

The indoor facility, coupled with the previously announced 17,000-square-foot outdoor facility, will establish a "premier pickleball destination and social hub in the heart of Patriot Place," officials said.

With nine professional courts, a food and beverage concept, private event space, Pro Shop and courtside seating, this new indoor pickleball hub is complete with everything players of all ages and skill sets need to enjoy this fast-growing sport year-round, officials hope.

The facility will also offer a full-service kitchen and quick-service options, with a curated menu designed for an “eatertainment” experience. The nine courts will surround a center court café and bar with counter service, with each court also featuring a lounge with food and beverage access.

“We couldn’t be more excited to continue our partnership with ELEVENO and bring their vision of a premier pickleball and social hub to life,” said Brian Earley, Vice President and General Manager of Patriot Place. “After previously announcing our new outdoor facility and the third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic powered by ELEVENO, we are thrilled to share the addition of this new indoor facility.”

“Opening ELEVENO’s flagship location at Patriot Place is truly a dream come true growing up just a few miles down Route 1,” said Jodi Cullity, Founder & CEO of ELEVENO Pickleball. “Pickleball is the anchor but what we’re really building is a place people want to be. ELEVENO is a social hub where sport meets hospitality - where you can compete, connect, and enjoy great food and drink all in one place. We’re proud to call Foxborough home, and this new facility is just the beginning of what’s to come.”

The new indoor pickleball facility marks the latest development in Patriot Place’s continued relationship with ELEVENO, after the two entities previously teamed up to announce the addition of a new outdoor facility, with the third annual Patriot Place Pickleball Classic Powered by ELEVENO taking place this August.

It will be open daily beginning this fall, from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; and from 7 a.m. until midnight on Friday and Saturday.

ELEVENO will host its first-ever ELEVENO Winter Classic on Dec. 6 and 7, featuring both gender and mixed double brackets for various skill levels.
