At 38-feet tall, and 19-feet wide, the largest bowling pin in New England is located atop Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Patriot Place, according to Foxborough Cable Access, Inc.

A large crane was used to place the massive pin on the roof of the building on Monday, July 28.

The bowling alley wanted its logo to be big enough to be seen as far away as Gillette Stadium, according to Splitsville Lanes sales and events manager Heather Muller.

“Go big or go home,” she said.

The bowling pin has the ability to change colors for different occasions and will light up red, white and blue during Patriots games, green on St. Patrick’s Day, and pink during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

In other Splitsville Lanes locations, there are large bowling pins located either outside or inside the building, commented Muller.

“It’s our signature logo,” she said.
