The Patriots Foundation hosted 30 area kids for a holiday shopping event. A gift drive is ongoing as well.

FOXBOROUGH, MA — Thirty local kids got to shop with some of the region's biggest stars during the Patriots Foundation's annual Gifts From The Gridiron holiday shopping event.
Led by Devin McCourty and a number of other Patriots, the event was hosted at Bass Prop Shops at Patriot Place this week.
According to the foundation the event "helps local children shop for themselves and wrap gifts for friends and family."

"It's just an important and special time of the year I think for everyone," said McCourty.
"Just being able to walk around and buy different gifts and allow a kid an opportunity for an hour, hour and a half, for everything to just be about them and getting their needs, it's a special time," he added.
