13 Framingham Educators Garner Recognition For Work With Students
The educators have been selected as honorees for the Chris Walsh Center for Educators and Families 5th anniversary celebration.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — Thirteen Framingham educators have been recognized for their work with students in the city's public schools.
The educators have been selected as honorees for the Chris Walsh Center for Educators and Families 5th anniversary celebration. These awards recognize "outstanding educators, caregivers, and advocates who work towards ensuring that every learner—including students with disabilities, gifted students, and those with unmet needs—has the opportunity to succeed," officials said.
This year, 30 educators and caregivers across Massachusetts are being recognized for their contributions. FPS educators have been awarded across the following two categories:

- Lift Every Learner Award for Advocacy and Community Engagement — This award honors educators and advocates who go above and beyond to ensure that all students, regardless of ability or circumstance, are supported in their learning journey. It recognizes those who build strong partnerships with families and communities, creating inclusive environments where every learner can thrive.
- Defy Gravity Award for Innovative Teaching and Impact — This award celebrates educators whose innovative teaching practices transform classrooms into places of inspiration and growth. It highlights those who break barriers, uplift students, and reimagine education in ways that foster creativity, equity, and high achievement.
Those recognized for the Lift Every Learner Award include:
- Nicole Druzicki – Dunning Elementary School
- Andrea Connolly – Stapleton Elementary School
- Joseph Ciavarini – Fuller Middle School
- Yesenia Gaudet – Barbieri Elementary School
- Wendy Stone – Barbieri Elementary School
- Zamira Carroll – FHS Academy Evening Program, Thayer Alternative High School
- Rejane De Musis – McCarthy Elementary School
- Allison Eisnitz – McCarthy Elementary School
