5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: August 20

1. Tonight is Family Movie Night at Bowditch Field. Gates open at 6 p.m. Movie will be shown at dusk.

2. The Framingham Farmers’ Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. at the Framingham Centre Common.

3. The main Framingham Library will hold a free screening of the Disney movie Bears at 2 p.m.

4. Walsh Middle School will be open today from 4 to 6 p.m. for students and parents to try lockers and take tours to find classrooms. Students are encouraged to bring their schedule with locker number and combination. Grade 7 and 8 graders will receive locker information on the first day of school.

5. McCarthy Elementary School will hold its annual kindergarten social for new families tonight from 5 to 6 p.m. at the school playground.
