5. Plan ahead: Framingham School Committee member Eric Silverman announced on Facebook Thursday he would be holding two coffee hours for parents and community members next week.
Silverman, who is up for re-election in April, posted the notice of the coffee hours on two closed Facebook pages, as well as the Town-Wide PTO Facebook page.
“I will be hosting an informal coffee hour at B Sisters Café (former Panache) this Sunday (Aug 23) from 4-5, and again on Monday (Aug 24) from 5-6. Please feel free to drop by to ask me questions, make suggestions, and so forth. I can only speak on behalf of myself; I am not authorized to speak for the whole committee. But I can surely answer your questions--if not then, then in a follow-up--and bring your suggestions and comments back to the entire School Committee and district administration. See you then. (And I will continue these coffee hours throughout the year.),” wrote the School Committee member.
