5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: March 7
Framingham High PTO, Framingham Board of Health and Keefe Technical budget hearing tonight.

1. Tonight is a meeting of the Framingham High PTO. At 7 p.m. Peter DeSimone will talk about his role at Framingham High. He will also discuss warning signs of depression and anxiety. Meeting will be held in the high school's library.
2. School Committee member Heather Connolly is running for re-election to the Framingham School Committee.
Tonight, Connolly's campaign will hold a kick-off election event from 5 to 7 at La Cantina Restaurant on Route 135. The public is invited.

There are two 3-year seats on the Framingham School Committee available. The election is March 29.
3. Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker has ordered that the United States flag and the Commonwealth flag be lowered to half-staff at all state buildings in honor of Prince Williams County, Virginia Police Officer Ashley Guindon who will be laid to rest on today in West Springfield.

5. The South Middlesex Regional Vocational Technical School Committee is scheduled to meet tonight at 7 at Keefe Technical High School. On the agenda is a public hearing on the district's 2016-17 school year budget.
